Our boats are specially designed for this awa.
AWA's boats are built in Aotearoa by KwikKraft Marine, a company based in Ōtautahi Christchurch with more than 30 years’ experience. They are highly manoeuvrable and, in the hands of our skilled drivers, can steer you through the narrow canyons and spin round rocky river islands.
The jets in our boats are Hamilton 212 jet unit connected to 500-horsepower, 496 Chevy V8 engines – a combination that makes them impressively powerful and exceptionally fast. The boats themselves are made of heavy-gauge marine aluminium with a deep 'V'-shaped design, making them extremely strong and your ride wonderfully smooth.
Our AWA jet boats comply with all the relevant safety standards and are completely safe and suitable for our white-water adventures.
